Blake Carver Blake Carver is a librarian at the New York Power Authority in Niagara Falls, NY, and the founder and host of LISNews, a collaborative blog for and about librarians and library services. Previously, he was a web librarian at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, and has also worked as a programmer at a dot.com startup in Buffalo, NY. Blake also runs his own web hosting business, LISHost.com.
Stephen M. Cohen Steven M. Cohen is the senior librarian at PubSub Concepts, Inc. He is the creator of the Library Stuff (published by Information Today, Inc.), a weblog dedicated to current awareness and professional development for librarians, which has been online since August 2000. He has been the contributing editor of the Internet Spotlight column for Public Libraries magazine since 2001 and of Resourceshelf.com since June 2004. He is also co-manager of the PLA Blog, the official weblog for the Public Library Association. Steven was one of 55 recipients of Library Journal's Movers and Shakers award in 2004. His undergraduate degree is from SUNY Stonybrook. He has an M.A. in mental health counseling from Long Island University, and obtained his M.L.S. from Queens College in 2002.
Jane Dysart Jane Dysart is a principal of Dysart & Jones Associates (D&J), an internationally recognized leader in library and information service consulting, which was founded in 1992. Prior to founding D&J, Jane spent seventeen years as manager, information resources for Royal Bank of Canada, where she was responsible for developing and managing its state-of-the-art information resources department. She is also currently conference program director for Internet Librarian 2005, C2: Connect & Collaborate!, Computers in Libraries 2006, and KMWorld 2005. She has served in various executive capacities for many associations, including as president of the Special Libraries Association, and is a recipient of SLA’s John Cotton Dana Award. She presents workshops for a number of organizations, teaches regularly at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Information Studies, and is a faculty member for the Managing Information Enterprises Certificate Program.
Amanda Etches-Johnson Amanda Etches-Johnson is a reference librarian at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. She has a keen interest in the production and delivery of information, and has been an active blogger for 3 years (Blogwithoutalibrary.net). She has published and spoken on the use of weblogs and RSS to serve library users and enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for emerging technologies in libraries.
Sabrina I. Pacifici is the founder, editor, and publisher of LLRX.com, and in January 2003, Sabrina launched beSpacific.com, a current awareness monitoring blog on breaking legal, technology and research related news and primary resources. For the past two decades, Sabrina has worked with a global 20 law firm, managing and delivering expert library and research and technology-based services. She is the developer/web manager of the firm's cyberlaw site and firmwide research intranet; she creates, authors and maintains enterprisewide blogs; and also provides research and practice technology services. Sabrina has an M.S. from the Catholic University of America, School of Library and Information Science.
Aaron Schmidt Aaron Schmidt is the author of the weblog walkingpaper.org.  As reference librarian at the Thomas Ford Memorial Library, a public library in Western Springs, IL, he uses blog software to manage the library's website.  He has presented internationally on the topic of library technologies, including instant messaging, weblogs, and information gadgets.  He was selected as a 2005 Library Journal Mover and Shaker.
